Assault and insult on hause raid 2020-02-12 17:23:09 MERSİN - In the raid to the house of Mehmet Beyhan, a member of HDP MErsin Provincial Youth Council, it was stated that his family and tenants were beaten by the police. Beyhan's brother, Cindi Beyhan, said that the police hold a gun against everyone's head, including his children, and beat them. Due to the investigation carried out by the Mersin Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 13 people, including 3 children, were taken into custody on the ground to be members of Revolutionary Youth Movement (DGH). The proceedings of the custodies at Mersin Provincial Security Directorate continue. In house raids, it was stated that the police broke the doors with the bathering rams, insulted and assaulted those in the house. THEY CRUELLY TORTURED US Mersin Democratic Party (HDP) Mersin Provincial Youth Assembly member Mehmet Beyhan was taken into custody with police raiding his home as well as the the entire 3-decker building upside down. Police also broke the doors of the building and moved to the residents outside. Beyhan's brother Cindi Beyhan, reported that the police attacked and threatened everyone in the house and added, "The police hold a gun against the head of my 11-year-old child, asking his name and beated him. They continued to beat my daughter Zehra and my son Erhan by holding a gun against their heads. They were cruelly beaten, insulted, and tortured us." Beyhan stated that they requested legal aid from Human Rights Association (İHD) Mersin Branch regarding the police violence they were exposed to.
