Detained female politicians released

	VAN - Detained Tusba City Council Member Ayşe Minaz and TJA activist Leyla Aşkan were released after their statements in the police station.

	TJA activist Leyla Aşkan, who was detained in the Tatvan district of Bitlis on the way from Van to Diyarbakır to attend the conference organized by Tusba Municipality Council Member Ayşe Minaz and Tevgera Jinên Azad (TJA) and was taken into yesterday morning, was released. 

	 

	Ayşe Minaz, who has been held in Van Provincial Security Directorate since yesterday with the accusation of "being a member of an illegal organization", was released after statement.
