Screening of 'İki Gözüm: Ahmet' movie terminated 2020-02-01 14:14:13 NEWS CENTER -  Upon the application of the wife and daughters of the artist Ahmet Kaya, the court decided to stop the screening of the movie titled 'İki Gözüm: Ahmet' (My dear Ahmet) , which is about the life of the artist and expected to be released on February 7. The movie İki Gözüm: Ahmet, a movie about the iconic artist Ahmet Kaya who was sent into an exile to Paris, France and lost his life there on November 16, 2000 due to a heart attack was stopped with a court order. His wife Gülten Kaya and his daughters, Turaç Melis Kaya and Çiğdem Öztürk, filed a lawsuit against X Yapım, which made the movie, which is scheduled to be released on February 7. Gülten Kaya and her daughters, who applied to the Istanbul Civil Court of First Instance through their lawyers, demanded to "prevent the attack on their personal rights" and "stop the broadcasting of the film until the end of the trial".   The court, which accepted the request, decided to stop the screening, reproduction and distribution of “İki Gözüm: Ahmet” and all kinds of images and content related to the film in cinemas, mass media, the internet, and television channels until the trial ended.   Özgür Tüzer and Aleyna Solaker played the leading role in the film, directed by Gani Rüzgar Şavata and Hakan Gürtop.
