	ANKARA – AKP Chair Tayyip Erdoğan pardoned Ahmet Turan Kılıç who had an aggravated life sentence for the Madımak Massacre where 35 people were killed.&nbsp;

	AKP Chair Tayyip Erdoğan decided to pardon 86 years old convict Ahmet Turan Kılıç who had an aggravated life sentence for the Madımak Massacre where 35 people were killed. According to the article Duvar Newspaper wrote basing on the Official Gazette, Ahmet Turan, who was sentenced to death by Ankara State Security Court No. 1 in 2000, about the attempt to forcefully break the constitutional order, was converted into a heavy prison after the death sentence was lifted. Kılıç's remaining punishment was lifted due to the report of the 3rd Specialization Board of the Forensic Medicine Institute.

	Some “non-governmental organizations” came together to call for the release of 86-year-old Ahmet Turan Kılıç, who has been imprisoned for 27 years.
