A committee from Russia met with Barzani 2020-01-30 12:23:27 NEWS CENTER – Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) leader Masoud Barzani shared his concerns on the future of the Kurdish people and his opinions and suggestions on solving the Kurdish problem with the Russian committee he met.   KDP leader Masoud Barzani met in Erbil’s Selahaddin district with a committee from Russia which is consist of the names like Russian Exterior Affairs Vice-Minister and Russian President Vladimir Putin’s Midde-East and African Special delegate Mikhail Bogdanov. In the meeting Russian’s Baghdat Ambassador Maksim Maksimov, Russian’s Erbil chief consul Oleg Levin and Russian diplomats were present.    Bogdanov shared Russian President’s Putin’s special compliments as well as of the new prime minister Mihail Mişustin. Bogdanov who addresses the historical relationship between Russia and Kurdistan and the significance of Barzani family in this relations, said that: “President Barzani is a dear friend of Russian people.”   Bogdarov who also remarked the important role of Federal Kurdistan Region to assure to stability in Middle-East has also stated that his country is willing to improve the relations of both sides further.   Mentioning the long-time friendship of Kurdistan and Russian people, Barzani has underlined that this relation should be improved further. Barzani, shared his concerns on the future of Kurdish people as well as sharing his opinions and suggestions on solving the Kurdish problem.
