Demirtaş dedicated his 300 page novel to his wife Başak Demirtaş and their children Delal and Dılda Demirtaş.   FIRST NOVEL   Demirtaş's first short story book 'Seher' made the best sellers list in no time and was translated to 14 languages. Demirtaş was nominated for the prestigious Medicis Literature Awards of France with this book. The English translation of the work was awarded by PEN International in 2018. He was also awarded the Montluc Resistance and Freedom Award in France. Demirtaş's second short story book “Devran” has been adapted to theater plays many times and soon became a bestseller. His latest book “Leylan” is the first novel of Demirtaş.
