Journalist Seyit Evran: The conflict area will widen 2020-01-08 12:51:47 İSTANBUL - Journalist Seyit Evran stated that the USA was targeting the "Center-Environment Strategy" of Tehran by killing Qassem Soleimani and said that the areas of conflict will expand with this assassination. The tension in the region increased with the killing of Qassim Soleimani, the Commander of the Jerusalem Forces of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Army, and Abu Mehdi al Mühendis, number two of the Iraqi militia organization Hashd al-Shabi. While hundreds of people shouted 'revenge' in the funeral ceremony, Tahran administration offered an award for the killing of USA President Donald Trump. Donald Trumps's response to the threates increased the tension.   Seyit Evran, who has been a journalist in Iraq and the Federated Kurdistan Region for a long time, evaluated the developments for our agency.   Evran underlined that Soleimani is not a randomly chosen target and pointed out that the US targeting Soleimani is related to the policies of designing the region with the Great Middle East Project (BOP). Evran stating that the conflict-relationship-conflict process is intense in the region, said the conflicts will escalate after these 3 stages.     Reminding that Iran is not an ordinary country and has a 3,000-year-old state structure, Evran said that Iran has a wide range of influence from Iraq to Lebanon, Yemen to Syria, and Syria to Africa. “Iran may not be too hasty as expected for retaliation. Iran can wait for the opportunity and then carry out their revenge actions. In fact, when we look at the statements of the Iranian authorities, those statements confirm they will take retaliatory actions against the United States. This shows that the areas of conflict will expand in the coming days."
