
"Free Figen Yüksekdağ and deputies in prison" demo in Zurich

	NEWS CENTER - An demonstration was organised in Zurich within the framework of the campaign "Free Figen Yüksekdağ and deputies prisoners'.

	Many institutions, non governmental organizations and the Swiss Federation of Migrant Workers (IGIF) held a rally in front of the Canton Parliament.

	&nbsp;

	During the protest slogans were shouted and leaflets were distributed demanding the release of HDP deputies in prison in Turkey.

	&nbsp;

	In the press statement made on behalf of IGIF, information was given about the cases opened against HDP former co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ (still held by the Turkish state in the F Type Prison No. 1 in Kandira since 4 November 2016) and the other HDP deputies in jail.

	&nbsp;

	The statement said: "We call on all the forces of democracy to demand Figen Yüksekdağ to be freed together with all other HDP deputies."
