11 people arrested in Antalya 2019-12-18 08:43:55 ANTALYA - 11 people out of 29 who were taken into custody in raids on houses and workplaces in Alanya on 6 December have been remanded in custody. On 6 December, in Alanya (Antalya) a number of people were taken into custody following police raids on houses and workplaces carried out within the scope of an investigation opened by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office of Alanya.   After taking the statements, the Court decided to release 12 people as there were not enough evidences.    17 people, who have been in custody since 6 December, were brought to Alanya Courthouse in the morning.   Following the completion of the procedures, the prosecutor asked to remand in custody 17 people for "membership of an illegal organisation" and "providince financial help to an illegal organisation".   The prosecutore remanded 11 people in custody. The arrested people were sent to Alanya L Type Closed Prison.
