Lawyer Fuat Şengül arrested

	BALIKESİR - Fuat Şengül, a lawyer registered to İzmir Bar Association who was taken into custody for his meetings with his client, has been arrested.

	 

	Lawyer Fuat Şengül, a member of Izmir Branch of the Lawyers for Freedom Association (ÖHD), was taken into custody two days ago because of an investigation opened due to a meeting he made with a former client. Şengül who was taken to Balıkesir Security Directorate after the search in his apartment, was arrested by the court he was referred to. Şengül was sent to Balıkesir Kepsut Type L Prison.

	 

	ÖHD called for solidarity with their colleague Şengül with a tweet from their social media account. Lawyers who went to Balıkesir Courthouse for solidarity, keeps waiting in front of the courthouse.
