CHP's Şeker: Turkey will have to face the war crimes of the Syrian National Army 2019-11-12 10:55:19 İSTANBUL - CHP MP Ali Şeker who reminded that Turkey will have to face the war crimes of Syrian National Army (SMO) in North and East Syria, said: "With these operations, Turkey will be responsible for the crimes these groups commit." Republican People's Party (CHP) İstanbul MP Ali Şeker made evaluations regarding the trustees appointed to the People's Democratic Party (HDP) Municipalities, the attacks of Turkey against North and East Syria, which his party voted yes for, and the crimes of the Turkey backed paramilitary groups commit in these 'operations'.    Şeker, referring to the attacks against North and East Syria stated that the fact that Turkey is allied with Syrian National Army (SMO)  is unacceptable. Şeker stating that Turkey will have to face the crimes committed by SMO, said: "Turkey is now responsible for the behavior of these groups as a result of their allience with them. Especially what they do to the civillians will be a problem for Turkey in the future. Turkish Armed Forces being allied with these irresponsible groups and carrying out operations in allience with them is unacceptable."   Şeker pointing out that regardless of the economic crisis, Turkey must reject conflictive environments, said: "They say this is not a war but an operation. But ceasefires are declared in wars, not operations. If Turkey accepts a ceasefire, then it means that Turkey accepts that this is a war. Besides, the ministers of this country announced that they were going to war. It is not right for Turkey to go into a war while there is an economic crisis. Parties making statements on how it is wrong to go into a war in economic crisis is not enough. They must stand against war in principle."
