
Trustee protests continue in Cizre: Oppression won't save you

	ŞIRNAK - During the visits to the artisans made in scope of the trustee protests in Cizre, the message 'The oppression can't save you. We will claim our will even if you set up a poll every week' was given.&nbsp;

	The protests against the appointment District Governor Davut Sinanoğlu as a trustee to the Cizre Municipality won by the People's Democratic Party (HDP) with a vote rate of 77.99, continues. HDP Şırnak MP's Nuran İmir, Hasan Özgüneş and Hüseyin Kaçmaz, Co- Mayors Mehmet Zırığ and Berivan Kutlu and many party members visited the artisans and informed the citizens. The citizens welcomed the visiters with the slogans 'Cizîr ya me ye' (Cizre is ours).

	Nuran İmir made a short speech and said: "we are proud of you all. We will claim our wills even if they set up polls every week."

	&nbsp;

	Hasan Özgüneş said: "Appointing trustees is an unjust practice. We will continue our struggle against oppression. AKP and MHP can't save themselves with oppression. All tyrants have been dumped into the waste basket of the history. We will ensure the brotherhood of the peoples, a dignified life with our struggle."
