The rally of Ecology Union (Ekoloji Birliği), the umbrella organization of ecology organizations, has been banned by the Governorship of Ankara.   The Union was planning to hold its rally with the slogan "We say stop to the climate crisis and ecological destruction" in Ankara on October 26.   However, as announced by the Union, the meeting has been banned by the Governorship was "it was not deemed compatible with the law on marches and open air meetings and the law on meetings and demonstrations."   Releasing a message on its social media account, the Union has denounced the ban in following words:   "The Governorship of Ankara has not permitted the meeting of 'We say stop to climate crisis and ecological destruction" to be held on October 26! We protest this anti-democratic ban imposed on our struggle for defending life! It is yet another shame of democracy that the decision of ban was not announced one day before the meeting!"
