From Erdoğan to Iran: This is betrayal 2019-10-22 13:40:47 ANKARA -  AKP leader Tayyip Erdogan made assessments before his visit to Russia. Erdoğan, mentioning the phone call French President Emmanuel Macron made with Russia President Vladimir Putin, evaluating the fact that Macron wanted Turkey to extend the ceasefire in Syria, said: "No such proposal came to me from Macron. Macron usually talks these things with the terrorists. I guess this is his way of conveying the message to us through them. He is probably in an effort to gain something from the agreement we made with USA."   Speaking about the relationship with Russia, Erdoğan said: "So far, Russia's statements regarding our agreement have always been positive. But we will talk about these things anyway. There are things that Russia and the regime agreed on from the east to the west in the region. We will talk about those things as well. I hope this meeting will also provide the desired agreement between us."   Edroğan continued: "There are some jar voices coming from İran. I am not talking about Mr. Rowhani. I am rather talking about his colleagues. Rowhani must have silenced those voices. This bothers me and my colleagues. How will we carry out this process? This is downright betrayal. I condemn this attitude."
