All Kurds who demand or fight for rights and freedoms are considered terrorists. Öcalan is a significant actor for peace. However, he is not allowed to play this role through the imposition of a strict isolation upon him. The struggle of the Kurds is not for their emancipation alone, it is for the democratization of the entire Middle East. As seen in the case of refugees, the attack against us affects Europe as well.”
