
Demirtas's lawyers applied for appropration in sentence

	İSTANBUL -Attorneys of former HDP Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş applied for appropriation in sentence. Demirtaş is expected to be release if the application is accepted.&nbsp;

	Ankara 19th High Criminal Court decided the release of People's Democratic Party (HDP) former Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş in the trial held in Sincan Closed Prison Complex on September 2. Ankara Chief Prosecutor's Office objected to the decision on September 3, but the court rejected the objection.&nbsp;

	Following the rejection of the objection, attorneys of Demirtaş filed for appropriation in sentence yesterday evening. The lawyers who took action for the time he was in detention, applied to the Istanbul 26th High Criminal Court and demanded the time Demirtaş spent in prison to be appropriated.

	&nbsp;

	If the court accepts the application for appropriation, Demirtaş is expected to be released from Edirne F Type Closed Prison.
