‘National Garden’ was completed without the approval of the Conservation Board 2019-08-30 12:55:07   DİYARBAKIR - The 'National Garden' constructed in Dİyarbakır, Sur, was completed without the approval of the Regional Board of Diyarbakır Cultural Heritage Protection Directorate.   The 'National Garden' was completed in Sur, which is listed in UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list, before the  Cultural Heritage Preservation Regional Council approved the application.   The 'National Garden' which was built on a 150-acre area parallel to the Tigris River and Hevsel Gardens, was completed after 5 months. The construction of the garden, which had a 3-month period for construction but constructed in 5 months with a cost of about 24 million TL  was completed without the necessary permissions from the Regional Directorate of Cultural Heritage.   What will happen to the garden  which was completed without the Diyarbakır Cultural Assets Protection Regional Council Directorate approval, if the board will not approve is a question waiting for an answer.
