
70 year old Raife İnatçı arrested

	DİYARBAKIR - Silvanlı Raife İnatçı, 70 years old woman, was arrested and placed in Diyarbakır D Type Prison after the local court approved the 3-year-1-month and 15-day prison sentence given by the local court.

	&nbsp;

	An investigation was launched against 70 year old Raife İnatçı for carrying a banner 'Youth protects Apo' written on it, although she doesn't know how to read or write. İnatçı was taken under custody in 2009 in scope of the investigation. İnatçı who was referred to Diyarbakır Court after her detention period was over, was released afterwards.

	A file was suited against İnatçı with the accusation of 'making propaganda of an illegal organization' and 'Aiding and abetting an organization without being a member of it'. İnatçı was sentenced to 3 years 1 months and 15 days by Dİyarbakır &th High Criminal Court.

	&nbsp;

	70 year old İnatçı, mother of seven, was sent to Diyarbakır Type D Closed prison when the sentence was finalized.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	İnatçı's relatives who stated that İnatçı has health issues due her old age, said being in prison will make it worse.
