Journalist and writer Aydın Engin stated that the government is showing that they do not seek peace and solution by appointing trustees.       Engin stated that at a time when Öcalan says he is ready for peace, the government shows that they are not taking it seriously and saying that they will oppress, attack and quench by appointing trustees. Engin who emphasized that not only Öcalan but also all the prominent actors in the Kurdish Political Movement are in favor of a peaceful solution, said: "Therefore, the Kurdish political movement, of course, wants a solution. But it is clear that Tayyip Erdoğan is not in favor of a solution. There are a lot of concrete evidences about it. With the last trustee thing, they added insult to injury. Those who rule the state responded to the peace calls of the Kurdish and said 'No we will not solve this in a peaceful way. We prefer a more military solution. We will intimidate, attack and suppress.We  will solve this with tyranny.' And this way, they say 'Your expectation for a peaceful solution is futile' to the Kurdish political movement."
