'Deaths at the borders are a state policy'

	HAKKARİ - HDP Hakkari MP Sait Dede who stated that the deaths at the borders have become a state policy critisized Hakkari Governer announcing the cause of death of Vedat Ekinci as a ricocheting bullet. Dede said 'Unfortunately these bullets only richochete in Kürdistan.'

	During the year, many people in the border cities, especially in Hakkari, lost their lives as a result of fire opened by Turkish and Iranian soldiers. Hasham Tilaver, who was engaged in border trade in Doğubayazıt district of Ağrı in the last week, lost his life as a result of fire opened by Iranian soldiars while Vedat Ekinci was killed by the fire opened by Turkish Armed Forces (TSK). People's Democratic Party Hakkari MP Sait Dede, evaluating the deaths at the border cities, said those deaths are a state policy and they are being covered up by the government. 

	 

	Dede, emphasizing that the government have been carrying out a war policy in the border cities, especially the last 4 years, said: "The policy of the government in the last 4 years have been evacuating Kurdistan, destroying, re-colonizing and ignoring the Kurds. The real issue here is not fighting an organization. We saw this in Rojava. We saw this is Başur and Bakur. The government is fighting the Kurds in every way that they can. They are fighting the Kurds politically, socially and economically. It was more economic in the border cities. They banned the plaeaus, the villages. They build up police station on every hill. Therefore the people living in these areas can not breathe, can not move freely. People living here can no longer sustain their livelihood and do border trade. And the state kills those who do border trade. This is a state policy and it is political. We cannot perceive what is happening as a single event."
