Motion for ‘Corruption and irregularities’ inquiry in Yüksekova Municipality rejected by AKP votes 2019-06-28 13:08:21 HAKKARİ - The motion for the inquiry of corruption and irregularities in the Yüksekova Municipality which was debitten by the trustee for 680 million TL in 2 and a half years, was refused by AKP votes. HDP MP Sait Dede said that the municipality, which is bonded, continues its activities with public support. The electricity of the municipality that can not pay the salaries of its employees is frequently cut by VEDAŞ. The motion demand of HDP MP Sait Dede was refused with the votes of AKP.     Dede who spoke about the denial of the motion, said: "Of course, such a large-scale theft in Yüksekova is not an individual situation that only a district governor performs by acting with hatred and contempt  for the public. It also has different dimensions. Dimensions involving the Bank of Provinces, Ministry of Environment and Urbanization and Ministry of Interior." Dede who stated 'Each institution has put its booty mentality recklessly into practice without even having to put up a legal cover to end Yüksekova and punish the public on its behalf', said AKP- MHP alliance knew about what was happenning and they act in alliance with them to break the will of the Yüksekova people.     Referring to the services of Yüksekova Municipality, which has not had a single penny in the safe for three months with these impossibilities, Dede said: "Our municipality carries out services like pest controll or environmental clean up with the own resources of the people.This might be a first in the history of municipalism. The system that got outraged seeing these services, attacks with all their resources by cutting of the power and etc. They are surprised. With this defeat, they are desperately attacking and sieging without reason and logic."
