	MARDİN - The prosecutor's office decided not to prosecute the ’abuse of office” and misleading tenders presented by the Ministry of Interior as the justification for the appointment of a trustee to the Mardin Metropolitan Municipality. The reasoning of the decision stated that Ahmet Türk and MARSU executives act in accordance with the law.

	On 12 December 2015, the civil inspectors of the Ministry of the Interior were examined for alleged irregularities in some tenders against the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mardin Water and Sewerage Administration (MARSU) of the Mardin Metropolitan Municipality under the leadership of the  Democratic Regions Party (DBP) After the inspections MARSU was accused of some irregularities.

	 

	A trustee was appointed while the investigations continued.

	 

	Evaluating the decision of the prosecutor's office, former executives of MARSU invited the Ministry to initiate the legal process against the illegal transactions made during the trustee period. Former MARSU executives expressed that they were acquitted by the prosecution's decision and said, bile Not a single claim against us has ever been true. Nevertheless, we were removed from our duties, and the trustee was assigned to the municipality as a result of such unfounded accusations. Everything's clear. If they really want to avoid public harm, those who accuse us will initiate legal proceedings against the trustee."
