Mothers in white cheesecloths: We will resist until the isolation breaks 2019-05-31 11:11:42 İSTANBUL - Mothers wearing white cheesecloths who waited in front of the prisons for their children on hunger strike, stating that tears filled their eyes listening to the message of Öcalan, said: "Our resistance against isolation will continue." Ayşe Yavuz, mother of Halit Yavuz from Ümraniye Prison, said they were very happy with the message of Öcalan.Yavuz who stated that their children ended the hunger strike because of the message, said: "We want to see the isolation not be applied to anyone anymore. We want Öcalan to be able to see his family, like we see our children. We want him to be visited by his attorneys once a week." Yavuz who stated that their children told him that they will start the hunger strike again if the isolation continues, said: "We don't want this to happen. We want peace, justice and equality. We don't want war. War is dirty. We don't want to see the mothers crying,not the mothers of the soldiars, nor the mothers of the guerillas. We don't want our youth to die."     Yavuz who underlined that they don't trust the Ministry of Justice, said: "We are afraid that they will go back on their promise. If that  happens, we will resist again. Our people will not be decieved with cheap games."
