
Mothers trying to make themselves heard for their children for a month

	KOCAELİ - The demonstrations mothers whose children are on hunger strike or in a death fast started in front of Gebze Women's Closed Prison have left behind a month.

	&nbsp;

	In the consequence of the hunger strikes DTK CO-chair and HDP Hakkari Deputy Leyla Güven initiated, the attorneys was finally able to visit PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan after 8 years. Yet, the hunger strikes and the death fasts are continuing because the isolation is not permanently terminated.

	&nbsp;

	Relatives of the prisoners, mainly mothers are demonstrating in front of Gebze, Bakırköy,Esenyurt, Diyarbakır, Batman, İzmir, Antep and Urfa Prisons for the demands of their children to met. The mothers have become a symbol witht heir white muslins after the attacks they were subjected to, during the demonstrations.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	The demonstrations of the mothers in front of the Gebze Prison, have reached 30 days even though they have been insulted and battered by the police from day one.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	Mothers who continue their demonstrations for a month now, once again gathered in front of the Gebze Prison and demanded the isolation to be terminated and the demand of their children to be met.
