Reacted from Temel about the silence: Not days, hours brings the 15 closer to death 2019-05-02 13:03:47 DİYARBAKIR - HDP Deputy Tayip Temel who is on hunger strike for 56 days against the isolation in İmralı, said: "Neither the government nor the opposition can stay silent against the horror a wasting body creates. The intelligentsia, artists and politicians can not run away from their conscientious responsibility" about the death fasts. The hunger strike Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair and People's Democratic Party (HDP) Hakkari Deputy Leyla Güven initiated is on its 176th day. The hunger strike action the political prisoners have started on December 16, 2018, have spreaded to all prisoners on March 1. HDP Depeties Tayip Temel and Murat Sarısaç joined the hunger strike HDP Deputy Dersim Dağ started in HDP Diyarbakır Provincial Building on March 3.     15 political prisoners turned their hunger strike action to a death fast upon the silence of the government regarding the hunger strikes from 4 different prisons. HDP Deputy Tayip Temel have made a statement about the death fasts from his social media account.     'NEITHER THE GOVERNMENT NOR THE OPPOSITION CAN STAY SILENT'     Temel who reacted to the silence of the government and the society said: "The hours, not the days brings the 15's to their deaths. The most horrifying od deaths is death from hunger. Without understanding why these  people risked dying from hunger, you can not solve anything in this country. Neither the government nor the opposition can stay silent against the horror a wasting body creates. The intelligentsia, artists and politicians can not run away from their conscientious responsibility."
