The expressions 'Kurdish geography' was found 'rude and hurtful' 2019-04-27 10:52:17 ANKARA - The motion HDP Group Vice-president Fatma Kurtulan tabled on February 21 World Mother tongue Day, was found 'rude and hurtful' because of the expressions 'Kurdish geography' and Denial and Assimilation policy' by the presidenct of the Assembly and was returned on those grounds.   The motion People's Democratic Party (HDP) Group Vice-president Fatma Kurtulan tabled on February 21 World Mother-tongue Day for the determination of the problems citizens have with using their mother tongue and overcoming these problems was returned by the Presidency of the Assembly.   The motion was responded on April 26. In the reply given by Parliament Speaker Mustafa Şentop, the statements 'Kurdish geography'  and the ’denial and assimilation policies' in the motion were returned on the grounds that they were 'rude and hurtful words’ under Article 67 of the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly.
