'AKP won Çukurca with transferred votes' 2019-04-08 10:53:08 HAKKARİ- HDP who stated that the people of Çukurca have voted for HDP, said: "HDP competed with the state in the elections in Çukurca. AKP have won the elections with the transferred votes of the soldiars." The candidate of AKP-MHP coalition have won the 31 March elections in Hakkari, Çukurca with a percentage of 55.75 votes.    People's Democratic Party (HDP) have stated that the election process in Çukurca was anti-democratic and that they did not compete with a political party, they have competed with the 'state' with all its power. HDP underlined that based on the votes of the people residing in Çukurca, they have won the elections.   'A STRATEGIC PLAN WAS MADE'   HDP Çukurca Co-mayor candidate Ebubekir Kanar who stated that due to the strategic importance of the county, the government made strategic preperations to win Çukurca, said : "Çukurca is trategically important for both the government and the Kurdish people. That's why the government placed great importance to the border counties between Şırnak and Esendere.   'SOLDIARS WERE PILED TO THE COUNTY'   Kanar, who stated that the government piled up solidars to the county when they acknowledge that they can not win the county with the votes of the people, said the government transferred the registrations of those soldiars to the county. Kanar said: "There are more soldiars registered in the county than the actual population of the people living here. Their only objective was to keep the municipality they usurped with a trustee."   'WE ARE GRATEFUL TO THE PEOPLE OF ÇUKURCA'   Kanar who stated that the bureaucrats in the region was working like a party employee, said: "Sometimes the governer came to the county 3-4 times a week giving instructions . They have placed about 2-3 thousand people in 11 different addresses. It looks like 627 people are living at the same adress."   Kanar, thanking the people of Çukurca, said: "We are grateful to the people of Çukurca. They did their share and stood behind their party. The election in Çukurca was won by the transferred votes. We can not speak about the will of the people in this context."
