'HDP has confirmed that we can live together'

	İSTANBUL- TMMOB Chairman of the Executive Board Emin Koramaz, stating that the people of the region have claimed their cities under the roof of HDP, İMO Chairperson Cemal Gökçe said, HDP has confirmed that we can live together with their election strategy.

	 

	According to the unofficial elections results of the March 31 elections in Turkey, AKP have lost metropols including İstanbul and Ankara. While the election strategy of HDP was determinant in the elections, the fact that Kurdish people have said no to racism and nationalism attracts attention.

	 

	 

	President of the Chamber of Civil Engineers (IMO) Cemal Gökçe, said that the people of İstanbul have responded to those who say 'We betrayed İstanbul'. Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (TMMOB) Chairman of Executive Board Emin Koramaz stated that every citizen objecting to those who can not rule the cities right, can not touch the people directly, prioritizing money and trade said no as well. Koramaz said: "People have basic needs. You have to act on those basic needs. You have to pave the way for the people to be able to live together. People from different beliefs, identities and ideologies will live together in this country no matter what we do. No matter how you try you can not prevent that. Therefore those who sow discord among those different beliefs and ideologies have not being right by them.". Koramaz who underlined that HDP have gone by the virtue and the principles of a life together, said: 'HDP has confirmed that we can live together'.
