Call for the peoples of Turkey from the family of hunger striker Yıldırım 2019-03-29 10:14:57   VAN- Abdurrahman Yıldırım, father of Dilan Yıldırım who is on a hunger strike for 80 days in Tarsus Type T Women's Prison, said: "I am calling on to the Kurdish, Arabic and Turkish peoples. Family of Dilan Yıldırım who has been on a hunger strike in Tarsus Type T Women's Prison since January 5, demanded that the demand of the prisoners met.   Abdurramham Yıldırım whose daughter is on a hunger strike sor 84 days, said his daughter that was arrested on January 5 2017, joined the hunger strike action on January 5 2019. Father Yıldırım said: "Dilan was a student. She was taken under custody in a police raid to her home. She is on a hunger strike for 84 days. I am calling on to the Kurdish, Arabic and Turkish peoples. Let's prevent these deaths."   Yıldırım who called on to the authorities, said: "Our call to our people is that the demand of the prisoners to be met. We can not function with our daughter on hunger strike. Can a mother and a father sleep if their child is hungry? I saw my daughter a month ago. She was feeling up but she had lost a lot of weight. We want the demand of my daughter and the other prisoners to be met at once."
