HDP Law Commission: To bring Güven to court by force is attempted murder 2019-03-28 15:24:58 ANKARA- HDP Law and Human's Rights Commission who reacted to the court issuing a bench warrant for Leyla Güven to the court, said the order is an attempt for murder. People's Democratic Party (HDP) Law and Human's Rights COmmission spokesperson and Batman Deputy Ayşe Acar BAşaran, made a written statement about the court order forcing Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair and HDP Hakkari Deputy Leyla Güven who is on hunger strike for 141 days to be brought to court.   'THE HUNGER STRIKE TAKES CEASELESS EFFORT'     Başaran who stated that the hunger strike initiated by Güven and pursued by thousands of prisoners is being maintained by a ceaseless effort to bring Turkey democracy, law and justice, said: "The mechanisms that must fulfill this demand are provocative by insisting on unlawful decisions.The court board that files law suits for actions that do not constitude crimes and ignores the role of Güven in the society, have clearly shows that they are siding with tyranny and unlawfulness."     'JUDICIARY AND LAW HAVE BECOME PARTNERS OF THE MASSACRE OF JUSTICE'   Başaran said: "The ministry of Justice that has a responsibility to respond to the lawful and legitimate demand of thousands of hunger strikers,have opened the way for the prosecution of politicians and elected people, tries to liquidate with the impartial judiciary ruled by those who do not pay allegiance to the palace.The bench warrant for Leyla Güven is forcing the patience of the society which is already agitated because of the death news coming from the prisons. We are warning the AKP government who discredits the judiciary and use it in line with its own political ambitions. Implementing this decision will be attempted murder.The judiciary ruled b AKp has become a partner in the law and justice massacre, as well as the attitude it has taken against this action which demands law and justice."
