Families of the hunger striker prisoners: We don't have time, meet the demands now 2019-03-27 14:21:48 ANKARA- Families of the hunger striker prisoners who came from İstanbul to see the Minister of Justice, said the ministry rejected to see them and isolated them. The families who emphasized that they don't have any time to waste, said they will sit in front of the Ministry of Justice until they have a meeting with the ministry.   The families of the hunger strikers who demand the termination of the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan came to Ankara to meet with the officials of the Ministry of Justice. The families who came from İstanbul were refused on the grounds that they did not have an appointment. The families including the Peace Mothers, will go back to the ministry today, made a press statement before that.   Mothers who stated that they gave them a number and prevent them from getting inside the ministry, said: "We don't have any more time. Our children are dying. We just have a few words to say to them. They said they can't do anything because they have no authority. We sit there until late last night. We will go back today. They should end the isolation and hear our children out. They say they do not care who dies because there is an election. We do not accept that."   CALL TO CPT   Sakine Göregen whose son is on a hunger strike in Maltepe Prison, stating that they want the isolation to be terminated, called on to the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture (CPT). Göregen stated that the institutions and organizations should take this seriously and act now.
