
District Election Board shuts HDP's election office down

	ADANA - Seyhan District Election Board closed down the district office of HDP due to an investigation carried out by the Adana Chief Prosecutor's Office.

	&nbsp;

	In Adana, police raided the HDP election liaison office located in Ova Street of Seyhan District on 19 March, stating that &nbsp;there are banned photos and posters. The police confiscated the photos and posters of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan and Zülküf Gezen who ended his life to protest the isolation in Tekirdağ No 2 Type F Prison.

	&nbsp;

	Within the scope of the investigation opened by the Prosecutor's Office, Seyhan 4th District Election Board decided to close the office. The board claimed that the poster of Öcalan could be seen from the windows of the election office, siezed the posters and a banned book and claimed these posters and books constitudes a crime.
