HDP, DTK, DBP and HDK: Government is resposible for the deaths 2019-03-26 15:11:40 DİYARBAKIR- Pervin Buldan who spoke at a press conference held by HDP, DTK, DBP and HDK, underlining that the silence of the government regarding the deaths in the prisons is unaccaptable, said: "Whatever you do, you cannot avoid responsibility; you are responsible for the deaths of those people who were under the protection of the state."    The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Central Executive Committee (MYK) held an extraordinary meeting in Diyarbakır. Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-Chair Berdan Öztürk, Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Co-Chair Mehmet Arslan and Peoples' Democratic Congress (HDK) Spokesperson Gülistan Kılıç Koçyiğit attended the meeting, chaired by HDP Co-chairs Sezai Temelli and Pervin Buldan. During the FMC meeting, HDP, DTK, DBP and HDP Co-Chairs and Spokespersons held a joint press conferance regarding HDP's 2019 Newroz celebrations, the isolation of PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and the hunger strikes led by DTK Co-Chair Leyla Güven.   Buldan who spoke at the conference, said: " “We had an extraordinary meeting. We had a long meeting on the newroz results, the critical threshold the hunger strikes are in, the deaths in prisons. We wanted to share the results with you."     BUldan who pointed out the deaths of the prisoners protesting the isolation in the prisons and said: "The attitude of the government regarding the funerals of the souls who lost their lives in prison is unaccaptable in term of law and belief and morals. It is a matter of great embarrassment that the funeral is abducted from the families and was buried without the consent of the families. What we are witnessing in awe and pain is that some ministers are bragging about these practices that they should actually be ashamed of. Whatever you do, you cannot avoid responsibility; you are responsible for the deaths under the protection of the state.
