	ŞIRNAK - At least 5 people were detained in home raids in Cizre, including former Mayor Aydın Budak.

	&nbsp;

	A large number of houses were raided late at night in Cizre district of Sirnak. In the raids, Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Provincial Council candidate Ali Akdeniz, former Mayor of Cizre, Aydın Budak, HDP District Organization manager Hüseyin Yiğit, Abdurrahim Ugan and Mustafa Çömlek were taken into custody.

	People taken under custody are being held at the District Police Headquarters.The reason for detention is unknown at the time.

	&nbsp;

	It is stated that the number of detention may increase in the home raids carried out throughout the city.
