Single message in Van Newroz area: Isolation will break

	VAN- Tens of thousands filling the Newrox Celebration area near Van Castle saluted the hunger strikes of thousands of people demanding the isolation to be terminated for PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan. The people of Van said: "The isolation will break, we will succeed with the fire of Newroz."

	 

	'THEIR DEMAND IS OUR DEMAND'

	 

	One of the thousands of women attending Newrox celebrations wiht all their colours, Hanife Al, said: "Newroz is ours. We will succeed with the fires of Newroz. We are here for the thousands of hunger strikers led by Leyla Güven. Her demand is our demand."

	 

	'WE ARE HERE FOR FREEDOM'

	 

	Cemile Yakut who stated that she attends the celebrations every year, said: "We came to the Newroz celebrations for peace and freedom. We want the demands of the hunger strikers met. We are here for making them accept the demands of Leyla Güven and her friends."

	 

	 

	'WE ARE HERE TO BE THEIR VOICES'

	 

	Hülya İtmez who stated that she is here to break the isolation, said: "We came to the Newroz celebrations for the demands of Leyla Güven and the hunger striker prisoners. Their demands are our demands. We are here to be their voices."

	 

	'HUNGER STRIKERS ARE OUR HONOUR'

	 

	Abdullah Yıldız who mentioned the importance of Newroz for the Kurdish people, said: "We came here for Newroz, for our values. We are here for the elections, to get rid of the trustees in our municipalities. We are here as the proof of our existance. I salut Leyla Güven. Leyla Güven and the hunger strikers in the prisons are our honour."
