
The French committee who came for Newroz taken under custody

	İSTANBUL- The executives of France Communist Party who came to attend Newroz Festival which will be held in Diyarbakır &nbsp;and to monitor the elections, were taken under custody entering Turkey.

	&nbsp;

	The executives of France Communist Party Sylvie Jan and Michel Laurent who were invited to the Newrox Festival organized by Diyarbakır Newroz Organization Committee Diplomacy Unit , was taken under custody right after landing in İstanbul Atatürk Airport, International arrivals.

	&nbsp;

	According to the information obtained, France Communist Party executives Jan and Laurent was taken under costody due to law 6458, article 9. They were told that the law they were being detained for is in scope of ban on entering Turkey.

	&nbsp;

	Jan is being kept in Silivri, and Laurent is being kept in Çatalca repatriation centre and will be deported tomorrow.
