The hunger strike of Leyla Güven is on its 127th day 2019-03-14 15:51:32   DİYARBAKIR- The hunger strike Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair Leyla Güven started with the demand of the termination of the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan have left behind 126 days.   The hunger strike Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair Leyla Güven started in Diyarbakır Type E Closed Prison on November 8, with the demand of the termination of the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan have left behind 127 days.Öcalan's brother Mehmet Öcalan was able to visit his brother in İmralı Island on January 12 while Güven's hunger strike was continuing.Güven who made a statement via her attorneys on January  14 said that the one time meeting does not mean that the aggravated isolation is terminated and that she was going to continue with her hunger strike.   87TH DAY IN PRISONS   The hunger strike of  HDP represantative Nasır Yağız in Federal Kurdistan District is on its 115th day, the hunger strikes of the politicians and journalists in Strasburg and imam Şiş from Galler is on their 88th day while the hunger strike of the first group of the political prisoners are on their 89th day. Meanwhile, on March 1, all of the PKK PJAK prisoners in all of the prisons in Turkey joined the hunger strikes.   HDP MEMBERS WHO WERE RELEASED UNDER CUSTODY AGAIN   On  march 8, HDP Van Deputies Tayip Temel and Murat Sarısaç, and HDP members Abdulhalik Kurt and Yusuf Ataş joined the hunger strike HDP Diyarbakır Deputy Dersim Dağ and HDP members Salih Cansever, İsmet Yıldız, Sevican Yaşar, Salih Tekin and Bilal Özgezer have started on March 3. A police raid was carried out to the HDP building the hunger strikers were in, and as a result while 3 of the hunger strikers were released, 4 of them was arrested. While the arrested hunger strikers continue their hunger strike in prison, another police raid was carried out to the HDP building and the 3 hunger strikers, Abdulhalik Kurt, Yusuf Ateş and Salih Cansever who were released, were taken under costudy again.     Meanwhile, the released prisoners on hunger strike, Sedat Akın and Gurbet Ektiren are continuing their hunger strikes at home, like Leyla Güven.
