
FJI: 46 journalists stood trial in February

	DİYARBAKIR- FJI who published the February report of violations of the rights of journalists, drawing attention to the fact that there are still 163 journalists incarcareted, said 3 journalists were taken under custody in february, 1 was arrested , 2 got sued while 46 journalists stood trial.

	Free Journalists Initiative (FJI) announced their february report of the violations of rights of the journalists.In the report where attention was drawn to the fact that the government is increasing their pressures against journalists, it was said that many journalists are being sued and stand trial on a daily basis.

	&nbsp;

	In the report where FJI declares they will stand against the policies that punishes journalism and journalists, 'We say that journalists can not be punished for their journalistic activities. We demand all our colleagues to be released immediately. Journalism is not a crime!"
