'We will continue our hunger strike even if there is death at the end' 2019-02-18 12:43:41   MERSİN- Vedat Bozkurt who is on a hunger strike with a friend in Ordu Type T Closed Prison for 45 days, said 'We will continue our hunger strike even if there is death at the end' in a message he sent through his family. Father Cevher Bozkurt said, there is no meal cooked in the house because of their son.     The hunger strike of Democratic Society Congress (DTK)  Co-chair and People's Democratic Party (HDP) Leyla Güven who is protesting the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan is continuing on its 103rd day. The hunger strike of the prisoners in different prisons is continuing as well.   Azad Karabulut and Vedat Bozkurt are one of the approximately 300 prisoners who are on a hunger strike.   Vedat Bozkurt who spoke to his father on the phone in February 16, said he is ok and his morale is high. Bozkurt made a call to the public saying: "Me and my friend Azad Karabulut are being kept at different wards. Our open visitations and phonecalls are reduced. We are very determined to continue our hunger strike. We will continue our hunger strike even if there is death at the end. We will not stop until our demand is met."     Father Cevher Bozkurt who stated he supports his son's hunger strike, said he has not been able to go visit her son because of his financial status. Bozkurt who stated people should rise up for Güven's resistance, said all hunger strikers are his children and called on to the authorities to meet the demands so no one dies. Father Bozkurt said: "We are already partially on a hunger strike because of our son. We don't cook meals at home. His mother says 'How can I eat when my son is hungry'. We respectfully bow down in front of all hunger strikers, especially our deputy Leyla. Everyone should support this resistance."
