
Ömer Öcalan: The action of Leyla Güven is a spark

	DİYARBAKIR- HDP Urfa Deputy Ömer Öcalan who assessed &nbsp;the 92 day hunger strike of the DTK Co- chair Leyla Güven as a 'spark', said: " We have to respond to Leyla Güven and our friends in prisons for they laid their bodies to death for us."

	The hunger strike Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair Leyla Güven have started on November 8 is continuing for 92 days now. Hunger strike action have been expanding ever since in the prisons, in Hewlêr, Galler and Strassburg. The watch HDP started in DTK is on its 8th day. People's Democratic Party (HDP) Urfa Deputy Ömer Öcalan who took over the watch today made assesments regarding the hunger strikes and the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

	Öcalan who pointed out that Leyla Güven is a deputy, a member of the parliament, reacted to the silence of the government. Öcalan who stated that the government is trying to annihilate Kurdish people, said: "The hunger strike action of Leyla Güven is a spark. It is an answer to the denial and destruction policies of the government. We have to respond to Leyla Güven and our friends in prisons for they laid their bodies to death for the freedom of this community This is the honourable thing to do."
