Istanbul Kurdish Film Festival begins in March 2019-02-01 11:01:28   İSTANBUL- Istanbul Kurdish Film Festival meets with audience on March 6-10 with the intitiative of 'Mezopotamya Cinema'. Speaking of the festival , Veysi Altay said: " Our goal is to make the films made about the Kurds made by Kurdish directors to be seen by the audience both in Europe and in Turkey.   Istanbul Kurdish Film Festival which will be held for the first time will meet with the audience on march 6 to 10.  Approximately 30 films will take place at the festival including Hüseyin Tabak's 'Ugly King Legend', Sehim Ömer Kalifa's 'Zagros', Hüseyin Hasan's 'Reşeba', Ender Özkahraman's 'A difficult Decision' and Veysi Altay's 'BÎR' (Well). The festival aims to expand the interest of Kurds in the art of cinema and to contribute to the development of Kurdish cinema. The films at the festival will be shown at the Mesopotamia Cinema Hall.
