Great cuts in salaries after election 2019-01-25 11:29:08 ANKARA- With the implementation of the increasing rates of income tax after the elections, large cuts in the wages of workers and laborers will be made. Economist Özgür Müftüoğlu said: " This tax application is making it clear that the labourer will pay the price of the slump."   The government will implement increasing rates of income tax cuts starting from 15 percent of the monthly earnings of millions of employees, especially the civil servants and workers.   According to the calculations, which will be put into effect after the elections, a civil servant who pays a tax of 15 percent in January will be subject to a 20 percent tax cut in September, resulting in a total decrease of TL 106 in salary.   Similarly, the engineers entering the tax zone will lose  112 TL,while nurses will lose 109 TL, and teachers will lose  39 TL. The 15 percent tax of the judges will increase to 20 percent in March and 27 percent in May. The salary of judges will deduce around 986 TL.    Economist Özgür Müftüoğlu said: " This tax application is making it clear that the labourer will pay the price of the slump."
