Letter to Leyla Güven from Argentina 2019-01-24 13:14:55 DİYARBAKIR- Non-governmental organizations from Argentina have sent a letter to Leyla Güven who has been on a hunger strike for 78 days, said: "”We are together with you to defend your usurped democratic rights." The New Left-Socialist Workers Movement in Argentina, Together and Left, Non-Bureaucratic National Class Group have sent a letter to Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-Chair and People's Democratic Party (HDP) Hakkari MP Leyla Güven who is on a hunger strike with the demand of terminating the isolation of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan.   The letter is as follows:  " To Leyla Güven, a political prisoner on hunger strike; We are writing to you to convey our international solidarity from Argentina for the legitimate demands and freedoms of the political prisoners in Turkey. The repressive policies of the government of the Dictator Erdogan not only persist in the oppression and persecution of the Kurdish people and Kurdish leaders, but also has an oppressive order against the Turkish people. We are together with you to defend your usurped democratic rights. With our sincerest militant embrace."
