	ANKARA- Özgür Faik Erol, an attornet of Asrın Law Office who made assesments about the isolation of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan said; 'Where in the world is there a prison in which an attorney haven't step foot in, in 7 years? A family member haven't step foot in 2 and a half years?'

	Özgür Faik Erol, an attorney of Asrın Law Office, evaluated the heavy isolation of the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan since 15 February 1999 in İmralı High Security F Type Closed Prison.

	&nbsp;

	Erol who stated that the concept of 'isolation' does not cover what is happening in İmralı until today, said the isolation in İmralı is not only a punishment but also a technique of administration.

	&nbsp;

	&nbsp;Erol said: "The management technique in İmralı &nbsp;have become a technique of administrating the whole society especially in the last 20 years."

	&nbsp;

	Erol who stated that the basic law principle stating 'In the face of the law, everyone is equal. Laws are blind to people ' is non-existant in İmralı, said this system is now widespread in Turkey with the law decrees.

	THE ATTITUDE OF ECHR AND CTP IS THE CONTINUATION OF THE ATTITUDE IN 1999

	&nbsp;

	Erol said: ' Since 2011, no attorneys can enter İmralı. Since 2015, committees are not allowed as well. CTP have visited Turkey four times. Interestingly, the same CTP which visited İmralı when the negotiations are continuing, haven't visited İmralı since then.

	'WHERE IN THE WORLD IS THERE A PRISON IN WHICH AN ATTORNEY HAVEN'T STEP FOOT IN ,IN 7 YEARS?'

	&nbsp;

	Erol, asking 'Is there no need for an independent observation and supervision of this prison?', said, 'Where in the world is there a prison in which an attorney haven't step foot in, in 7 years?'

	&nbsp;

	Erol underlining that European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) doesn't run their own law when it comes to &nbsp;Öcalan, critisized ECHR and &nbsp;European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (CPT).
