Deniz Kaya: Make noise for the hunger strikers

	DİYARBAKIR- Deniz Kaya who made a written statement about the ongoing indefiite non-rotating hunger strike called on for public awarness.

	 

	Kaya who reminded of the fact that there are at least 171 prisoners in an indefinite non-rotating hunger strike and that Leyla Güven is in her 64th day of hunger strike, emphasized the importance of unity.

	 

	Kaya's statement is as follows: "It should be known that the upcoming local elections won't be held in a democratic environment and because of the current government it is not possible for Turkey to hold an election in a democratic environment. In situations like these, the election won't designate the resistance, it is the other way around.To be resisting agains fascism and to break the isolation on our leader will provide the grounds on democratic elections and politics. Therefore our priority is to make the voice of the prisoners be heard and to unite."
