International support for Leyla Güven 2019-01-10 11:18:18   NEWS DESK-  Support came from the parlamentarians of Europe and Middle East for Leyla Güven who has been in a hunger strike for 64 days. Parliamentarians who published a note, said: "Absolute quarantine disrupts the way to peace" demanded Güven to be released and the isolation on Öcalan to be terminated.   Support came from parliamentarians of Europe and Middle East for Democratic Society Congress (DTK)  Co-chair and People's Democratic Party (HDP) Hakkari Parliamentarian Leyla Güven who started a hunger strike on November 8, 2018 demanding the isolation of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan. Parliamentarians drew attention to the deteriorating health conditions of Leyla Güven.    'WE HEAR THE MESSAGE OF GÜVEN'   While they stated that an absolute quarantine disrupts the way to peace, they said 'We hear the message of Güven'. They called on to Ankara administration to release Güven immediately and terminate the isolation of Öcalan and the other political prisoners.   The note ended with the words: " The only solution to the Kurdish problem is peaceful and democratic dialogue, not imprisonment and isolation."
