
4th group took over the 10 day hunger strike

	DİYARBAKIR- &nbsp;The 4th group took over the 10 day hunger strike to protest the isolation of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan on November 27th.

	The hunger strike to protest the isolation of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, initiated by Democratic Society Congress Co-chair and People's Democratic Party Hakkari Parliamentarian Leyla Güven is in its 54th day. While 91 prisoners in 23 prisons continue their indefinite non-rotating hunger strike, 10 day long hunger strikes are continuing in 117 different prisons by the 4th groups.

	&nbsp;

	The prisoners in Oltu Type T Closed Prisons are in the 10th day of their indefinite non-rotating hunger strike that was started on December 10. The strike taken over by the 3rd group is still continuing and each group consist of approximately 10 people.

	&nbsp;

	On the occasion the demand is still not met, Bandırma, Alanya, Kayseri, Tarsus, Tokat, Hilvan and Siverek prisoners will start an indefinite non-rotating hunger strike on January 5.

	&nbsp;

	The prisoners stated that their strikes will continue until their demand is met.
