Detained in Turkey due to an investigation launched on her husband 2018-12-28 12:00:15 MARDİN- Rahime Kılıç Baykal  who lives with his family in Austria , arrived in Turkey where her  passport was canceled due to  an investigation launched about her husband. 7 months pregnant Baykal drew attention to the principle of individuality and said that she was unlawfully detained in Turkey.   Rahime Kılıç Baykal who came to Turkey on August 13, was taken under custody in İstanbul Atatürk Airport during passport check. Her passport was confiscated after she was interrogated about her husband. They told her that there is a confidentiality order regarding the confiscation of her passport.   Baykal who demanded information from the prosecutor's office, learned that there is an arrest warrant about her husband who have been living in Australia since 2003 with the charge of 'Praising an illegal organization'. Prosecutor's office informed her that there was no order about confiscating her passport. Baykal later found out that her passport was cancelled with the instruction of Giresun Governership.   Baykal who hasn't been able to go back home since 4 months said:" My husband goes to the Kurdish Association from time to time in Australia.Someone made an anonymous tip about him which lead to an investigation. That's why they cancelled my passport. We could not understand why any of this happened. There is a principle called the principle of individuality. What does my husband's shares have to do with me? I am 7 months pregnant and have a 18 month old child with me and we are being detained here illegally."
