Quota to the needs of the detainees on the grounds that they might stock 2018-12-27 12:25:21   İSTANBUL- Marmara Solidarity with Families of the Prisoners and Convicts Association Member Süreyya Aydın who told that there is a new quota for the needs of the prisoners in Bakırköy Type L WOmen'S Closed Prison, said the grounds for the quota is that they might stock.     Marmara Solidarity with Families of the Prisoners and Convicts Association MEmber Süreyya Aydın drew attention to the violation of rights in the Bakırköy Type L WOmen'S Closed Prison where a number of prisoners is in a hunger strike for the termination of isolation of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan. Aydın emphasized that the hunger strikers that have been in a indefinite non-rotating hunger strike for 11 days have not yet been checked by the doctors. Aydın adding that the b12 vitamins whch are vital for the hunger strikers are havent been given yet,said: "They are given a handful of sugar, 4-5 lemons and a little salt every two days.There also is a new quota for the prisoners who are not in hunger strike as well. There are sick prisoners. The prisoners have spoke to the administration about this and the administration told them that they are putting a quota in case the prisoners might stock."     Aydın who draws attention to the need to create a public opinion immediately in the face of these violations of rights, said: "B vitamins should be given and the blood pressure measurements should be made in the rooms within the prison.The isolation must be terminated before bodies start to came out of prisons."
