The first hearing of Gün Printing Company was seen: This is a first in history

	İSTANBUL- The hearing of Gün Printing Company that 21 workers, 12 of them being detained have started. Gün Printing Company licencee Kasım Zengin said: "It is a first in the history that all workers of a printing compant got arrested."

	The hearing of 21 people including the licencee Kasım Zengin working in Gün Printing Company was seen at İstanbul 26th Criminal Court today.

	 

	Gün Printing Company Licencee Kasım Zengin said: " We are registered in the tax office. We are registered in the Chamber of Industry and Trade. We deliver everything we publich to these foundations daily, as we are supposed to. We have a certificate given by the Ministry of Culture. That's how we publich the books with banderoles. We present all we published to Ministry of Culture.  We have never recieved a warning before. Ministry gives ISBN numbers for all published books. That shows the printed publication is allowed. We have never printed a single book without that permission.

	Zengin reminded in his defence that they are all periodical publications, said: " The content of the publications does not concern us. They are prepared by the newspaper workers. We are just trying to do a good job printing them. And we send everyting we publish to Chief Prosecutor's office, like we are supposed to.

	 

	Zengin finished his words by saying: "This is the first time the whole staff of a printing company gets arrested. All my property was confiscated. All my staff was victimized. We want justice. We want to be released."
